Early Years Practitioner - Toddler Specialist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a passionate and experienced Early Years Practitioner specializing in toddler development to join their team in Plymouth . This role focuses on creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and thrive. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing age-appropriate activities that support their rapid developmental milestones. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences tailored to the specific needs of toddlers (ages 1-3).
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress, identifying individual learning paths and areas for development.
• Ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and well-being for all children in the toddler room.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and social skills.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates and fostering a collaborative partnership in Plymouth .

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
• Proven experience working with toddlers in an early years setting.
• Solid understanding of toddler development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication, observational, and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to early childhood education in Plymouth .
