About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and dedicated Early Years Educator to join their innovative childcare team in Brighton . This role involves fostering a stimulating and supportive learning environment for children aged 0-5, planning and delivering engaging activities that promote their holistic development. You will work collaboratively with fellow educators to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained, contributing to a child-centered philosophy. This position is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator in the East Sussex area to work in a role that allows for a degree of remote planning and resource development, alongside on-site delivery, reflecting a flexible approach to modern childcare provision.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and development in individual learning journeys.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children, adhering to strict safeguarding and hygiene policies.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and carers, promoting effective communication and engagement.
• Prepare and organize learning resources and the indoor/outdoor environment to promote exploration and discovery.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the nursery's continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or preschool setting.
• Solid understanding of the EYFS framework, child development theories, and safeguarding protocols.
• Excellent communication, observation, and planning skills.
• Ability to adapt to a flexible working model, balancing on-site interaction with remote preparation.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to nurturing young minds.
