Early Years Educator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a nurturing and dedicated Early Years Educator to join their reputable nursery in Nottingham . This role involves providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for young children aged 0-5 years, fostering their development across all key learning areas. You will implement engaging activities, observe and record children's progress, and build positive relationships with children and their families. The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for early childhood education and is committed to creating a fun, play-based learning experience that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a range of age-appropriate, play-based activities that support children's learning and development.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children under your care at all times.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and curiosity.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support children's individual needs.
• Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Early Years Education, such as NNEB, Cache Level 3, or equivalent.
• Experience working with young children in an early years setting.
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
• A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for early childhood development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
