Early Years Educator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a qualified and passionate Early Years Educator to join their vibrant nursery in Sunderland . You will be responsible for fostering a stimulating and safe environment where young children can learn, play, and grow. This role involves developing and implementing creative lesson plans, observing and assessing children's development, and working closely with parents to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare. You'll be a key member of a dedicated team, contributing to a positive and nurturing atmosphere that supports the holistic development of every child, with potential for some administrative tasks to be handled remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children under your care.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Contribute to the overall management and development of the nursery.

Requirements

• Relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education).
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
• Strong understanding of child development and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
