About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join their outstanding nursery in Derby . You will be responsible for fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment for children aged 2-4 years, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development through creative play and educational activities. This role requires a passion for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that align with early learning frameworks.
• Observe, monitor, and record children's progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic, and stimulating play environment.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children and their families.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of childcare services.

Requirements

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
• Experience working within an early years setting.
• Good understanding of child development principles and the EYFS.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
