About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Lead Teacher to guide their nursery and reception classes in Bradford . This crucial role involves overseeing the curriculum, managing the EYFS team, and ensuring a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment for our youngest learners. You will be responsible for implementing best practices in early childhood education and fostering strong partnerships with parents. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the foundational learning experiences of children in Bradford , West Yorkshire, and to lead a dedicated team in delivering high-quality early years education.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, delivery, and assessment of the EYFS curriculum , ensuring it is engaging and developmentally appropriate.
- Manage and mentor the EYFS teaching and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and progress of all children within the EYFS setting.
- Develop and maintain strong communication links with parents and carers, involving them in their child's learning journey.
- Monitor the quality of provision, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and safeguarding procedures for the EYFS.
Requirements
- Recognised early years qualification (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Childcare, EYITT).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) is highly desirable.
- Significant experience working within an EYFS setting , with proven leadership capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework, child development, and assessment strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
