About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Lead Teacher to guide their nursery and reception classes in Bradford . This crucial role involves overseeing the curriculum, managing the EYFS team, and ensuring a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment for our youngest learners. You will be responsible for implementing best practices in early childhood education and fostering strong partnerships with parents. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, delivery, and assessment of the EYFS curriculum , ensuring it is engaging and developmentally appropriate.
- Manage and mentor the EYFS teaching and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and progress of all children within the EYFS setting.
- Develop and maintain strong communication links with parents and carers, involving them in their child's learning journey.
- Monitor the quality of provision, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and safeguarding procedures for the EYFS.
Requirements
- Recognised early years qualification (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Childcare, EYITT).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) is highly desirable.
- Significant experience working within an EYFS setting , with proven leadership capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework, child development, and assessment strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
