About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Southampton . This role is dedicated to providing a stimulating and safe learning environment for young children, laying the foundation for their future educational journey. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities that promote holistic development, creativity, and a love for learning. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a creative and stimulating curriculum based on the EYFS framework.
• Observe and assess children's development, documenting their progress and achievements effectively.
• Create a warm, secure, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and carers to support each child's learning journey.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children within the setting, adhering to safeguarding policies.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Early Years Practitioner qualification.
• Experience teaching within the EYFS framework.
• A strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with young children and families.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to best practice.
