Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a rich and engaging EYFS curriculum that meets the needs of all children.
• Observe and assess children's learning through a variety of methods, documenting progress and identifying next steps.
• Create a stimulating and enabling indoor and outdoor learning environment that encourages exploration and independence.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, fostering effective home-school partnerships.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Early Years Teacher Status (ECTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Experience working within the EYFS framework, preferably in a reception class setting.
• A strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and commitment to best practice in Cardiff .
