About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to lead a vibrant reception class within a highly regarded primary school in Milton Keynes . This pivotal role focuses on creating an engaging, play-based learning environment where children can develop essential early learning skills and build a strong foundation for their future education. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a rich and stimulating EYFS curriculum, ensuring all areas of learning are covered.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting to parents/carers.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that meets the individual needs of every child.
• Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective home-school communication.
• Organise and lead stimulating activities, including outdoor play and creative arts, to enhance development.

Requirements

• Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Experience teaching within the EYFS framework, demonstrating a thorough understanding of child development.
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with young children and their families.
