About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and creative Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join their forward-thinking online learning environment, serving children in the Sunderland region. This fully remote position allows you to shape the foundational learning experiences of young children from the comfort of your home. You will be responsible for designing and delivering an engaging, play-based curriculum that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. Collaborating with a team of early years specialists, you will utilize innovative digital tools to foster holistic development in preschoolers, ensuring a stimulating and supportive virtual classroom that encourages exploration and social-emotional growth, making learning an exciting adventure.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a high-quality, play-based curriculum aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Create a stimulating and safe virtual learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
• Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their learning journey through portfolios and reports.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and physical development.
• Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and engaging them in their learning.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Early Years Professional Status (EYPS).
• Experience teaching within the EYFS framework, preferably with a strong understanding of early childhood development.
• Proficiency in using online educational platforms and digital tools for early years learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and nurturing approach.
