About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join their vibrant educational setting in Leeds . This role focuses on nurturing the development and learning of young children within their crucial formative years. You will create a safe, stimulating, and play-based learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. The successful candidate will work closely with a supportive team to implement the EYFS framework and build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, contributing to a positive and enriching early education experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a rich and varied curriculum based on the EYFS framework, focusing on children's individual needs and interests.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, providing detailed reports to parents and the senior leadership team.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, other teachers, and external agencies to ensure holistic child development.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent Early Years qualification (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education).
• Experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• A strong understanding of child development and play-based learning principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to high-quality provision.
