About the Role
Our client seeks an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to lead a vibrant classroom in Cardiff . This pivotal role focuses on creating a stimulating and playful learning environment where children aged 3-5 can thrive. You will guide the educational journey of young learners through exploration, creativity, and discovery, ensuring the developmental milestones outlined in the EYFS framework are met. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a creative and stimulating curriculum aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Observe, assess, and provide feedback on children's learning and development through varied activities.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where all children feel valued and supported.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, encouraging their involvement in their child's learning journey.
- Manage classroom resources effectively and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in Cardiff .
Requirements
- Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with EYFS specialism.
- Demonstrable experience working with young children in an early years setting.
- Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework, child development, and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication, observation, and planning skills.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and a patient, positive approach.
