About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Early Years Lead Practitioner to manage and inspire their team at a reputable nursery in Nottingham . This leadership role involves overseeing the daily operations of a specific room or age group, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are met. You will be responsible for mentoring staff, developing engaging curriculum plans, and fostering strong partnerships with parents. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of early years practitioners, providing guidance and support.
• Develop and implement creative and stimulating learning plans in line with the EYFS framework.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and developmental needs of all children are met.
• Conduct regular observations and assessments of children's progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, promoting effective home-school communication.
• Oversee administrative tasks related to your room or age group, including record-keeping and compliance.

Requirements

• Full and relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g., CACHE, NVQ) in Childcare and Education.
• Significant experience working in an early years setting, with proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding policies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• A passion for early childhood development and a commitment to continuous improvement.
