Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years, following the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, identifying and responding to their individual needs.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating, and hygienic environment, adhering to all nursery policies and procedures.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families, encouraging parental involvement in learning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and high standards of care.
• Support children's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development through varied activities.

Requirements

• A relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (e.g., NVQ, NNEB, CACHE).
• Previous practical experience working within an early years setting.
• Solid understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to child welfare.
