About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Practitioner Lead to join their team in Nottingham . This hybrid role combines hands-on practice with leadership responsibilities, focusing on delivering exceptional early years education and guiding a team of practitioners. You will play a key role in curriculum implementation, child development monitoring, and ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment, with flexibility to manage administrative tasks remotely. Key Responsibilities

• Lead a room or key group of children, providing high-quality care and education.
• Plan and implement engaging activities that meet the developmental needs of children, in line with curriculum frameworks.
• Mentor and support junior practitioners, providing guidance on best practices.
• Conduct observations and assessments, documenting children's progress and development.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding their child's development and well-being.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
• Significant experience (4+ years) working with children in an early years setting.
• Proven experience in a leading or supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
