About the Role
Our client is seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join their dedicated team in Birmingham . You will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can thrive and develop. Working closely with colleagues, you will plan and deliver a range of engaging activities that support children's learning and development across all areas of the curriculum. This position is perfect for an individual who is enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to providing exceptional care in a friendly and supportive setting located in Birmingham .
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child.
- Observe and record children's progress, ensuring accurate and detailed learning journeys are maintained.
- Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all children.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and guardians, promoting open communication regarding children's development.
- Assist in the daily care routines of children, including feeding, hygiene, and napping.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and high-quality childcare service.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting is essential.
- A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and safeguarding principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
