Early Years Practitioner

About the Role

Our client is looking for a nurturing and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join their well-established nursery in Bradford . You will play a crucial role in providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for young children aged 0-5, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This position involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, observing and assessing children's progress, and building positive relationships with children and their families. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning experiences for children within the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess, and record children's development, identifying and responding to their individual needs.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to strict safeguarding policies.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers, promoting home-school partnership.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience working with children in an early years setting.
• Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults.
• A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children in Bradford .
