Early Years Practitioner

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their vibrant nursery team in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role focuses on providing exceptional care and education to young children, supporting their development across all areas. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals to create a stimulating and safe learning environment. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging and stimulating activities that support children's learning and development according to the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to strict safeguarding policies.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children, celebrating diversity.
• Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through play-based learning.
• Maintain excellent communication with parents, discussing their child's development and needs.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 years in a nursery setting.
• A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for child development and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
