Early Years Practitioner

About the Role

Our client is looking for a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a reputable nursery in Coventry . You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, fostering their development across all key learning areas. This role is crucial in creating a stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow confidently. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to a positive and supportive nursery culture that prioritizes child well-being and developmental progress within the West Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to parents.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all children.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensure health, safety, and safeguarding policies are strictly adhered to at all times.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement nursery activities and events.

Requirements

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Care (or equivalent).
• Proven experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication, observation, and assessment skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and development.
