About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their dedicated team in Birmingham . This role involves providing exceptional care and education to children aged 0-5 years, creating a stimulating and safe learning environment. You will be instrumental in supporting the developmental milestones of young children, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding early years provision. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that foster children's learning and development across all areas of the curriculum.
• Observe and assess children's progress, accurately documenting their achievements and developmental needs in line with the EYFS framework.
• Build positive and supportive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to strict safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with parents and families, sharing updates on their child's progress and involving them in their learning journey.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and stimulating learning environment, preparing resources and tidying up as needed.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
• Experience working with young children in a nursery or preschool setting.
• A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Passion for early childhood development and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Excellent observation, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding best practices is essential.
