About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Teacher to lead educational activities and foster a love of learning within their early years setting in Edinburgh . This role involves developing and delivering an engaging curriculum that aligns with national frameworks, providing a stimulating and safe environment for young children's development. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child, embracing innovative teaching methods both within the centre and through supplementary online resources.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality early years education programmes in line with the curriculum framework.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress, using this information to inform future planning and provide targeted support.
Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers, fostering strong home-school partnerships.
Lead and mentor junior members of the early years team.
Develop and implement supplementary digital learning resources for home use.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized early years teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching and supporting children in the early years (0-5 years).
In-depth knowledge of the Scottish curriculum for excellence in the early years.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in using digital tools for education and communication.
Commitment to continuous professional development and best practice in early years education.
