EDM Machinist
Location: Gloucestershire Shift: Double Days Salary: Competitive + Shift Allowance + Excellent Benefits
An exciting opportunity for an experienced EDM Machinist / Spark Eroder to join a leading precision engineering manufacturer in Gloucestershire.
Working within a modern machine shop, you'll be responsible for setting and operating EDM and Wire Erosion machinery to produce high-precision components to exacting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities - EDM Machinist
Set and operate EDM and Wire Erosion machines Work from engineering drawings, setup sheets and CNC programs Carry out in-process inspection using measuring equipment Monitor machine performance and maintain quality standards Support continuous improvement activities Ensure tooling, fixtures and equipment are maintained and available Contribute to a safe, efficient and quality-focused manufacturing environment
About You - EDM Machinist
Experience setting and operating EDM, Wire Erosion or Spark Erosion machines Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Understanding of CNC machining and machine setup processes Competent using inspection and measuring equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
