About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and empathetic Educational Psychologist to join their dedicated support services team in Plymouth . This vital role involves assessing and supporting children and young people experiencing a wide range of learning, behavioural, and emotional difficulties. You will work collaboratively with schools, parents, and other professionals to develop tailored strategies that promote positive outcomes and enhance well-being. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of children and young people to identify needs.
- Provide consultation and direct intervention to support students, families, and educational settings.
- Develop and implement evidence-based psychological interventions and support plans.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external agencies.
- Contribute to the development of service policies and promote best practices in educational psychology.
Requirements
- A recognised postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology.
- HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist.
- Experience in applying psychological principles to educational contexts.
- Excellent report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team in Plymouth .
