About the Role
Our client is seeking a qualified and dedicated Educational Psychologist to join their expanding remote team. This role involves providing crucial psychological support and assessment services to students, schools, and families across various educational settings. You will conduct assessments, offer consultation, and develop intervention strategies to support the learning, emotional, and behavioral development of children and adolescents. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of children and young people to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Provide consultation and support to parents, teachers, and school staff regarding assessment findings and intervention strategies.
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans to address identified psychological and educational challenges.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for educational professionals on relevant psychological topics.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in all practice, operating effectively in a remote capacity.
Requirements
- A postgraduate degree in Educational Psychology.
- Professional registration with the relevant regulatory body (e.g., HCPC in the UK).
- Proven experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents.
- Strong understanding of child development, learning processes, and mental health in educational contexts.
- Excellent communication, report-writing, and interpersonal skills, essential for remote client engagement.
