Electrical CX Engineer

Astute's Strategic Division are currently recruiting for an CX Engineerr to join the EPC Contractor on a new build Data Centre in Central Belgium on an initial 4 months contract basis.

The CX Engineer position come with a day rate from €650.00 to €750.00 per day AOR / EOR. Accommodation will be provided.

Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:

Support pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities across the data centre project. Complete and maintain system and equipment test packs and commissioning documentation. Ensure project quality and commissioning databases are accurate and kept up to date. Assist with the preparation of commissioning execution plans, schedules and testing programmes. Prepare pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures alongside specialist vendors and suppliers. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors during commissioning and testing activities. Review performance test procedures, operating manuals and associated technical documentation. Liaise with AP and Testing teams ahead of functional switching and electrical energisations. Support system walkdowns, tagging, testing and final handover activities. Assist with the supervision and completion of performance testing where required. Ensure testing, scripts, certification and handover documentation are completed correctly. Assist with the preparation of final commissioning reports and certificates. Attend project, commissioning and subcontractor meetings as required. Work closely with the QA, construction, testing and commissioning teams throughout project delivery. Provide site support across Belgium, Ireland and mainland Europe where required.Location, day rate and timeframe of the CX Engineer position:
