Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical schematics and layouts for various systems, ensuring adherence to technical specifications.
- Select appropriate electrical components, considering factors like performance, cost, and availability.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project managers to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs.
- Prepare technical documentation, including BOMs, wiring diagrams, and installation guides.
- Conduct design reviews and testing to validate electrical system functionality and reliability.
- Support the manufacturing and commissioning phases of projects, troubleshooting any electrical issues that arise.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) and simulation tools.
- Solid understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.
