Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join their fully remote engineering team. This role is integral to designing and developing innovative electrical systems for a variety of client projects. You will be responsible for translating requirements into effective designs, utilizing your technical expertise and collaborating with a distributed team. Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications for various systems, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
- Perform essential electrical calculations , including load analysis and short-circuit assessments.
- Select and specify electrical components and equipment based on project needs and performance criteria.
- Create detailed bill of materials and technical documentation for manufacturing and installation.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, hardware developers, and other engineers in a remote environment .
- Support the review and verification of designs, troubleshooting issues as they arise during development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- 2-4 years of experience in electrical design and engineering, preferably with some remote work experience.
- Proficiency with ECAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of electrical principles, power systems, and relevant safety standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
