Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical schematics, control panels, and wiring diagrams using industry-standard software.
- Specify electrical components, materials, and equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety regulations.
- Conduct electrical system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting on-site and remotely.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and project managers, to ensure design integrity.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design reports, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and installation guides.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards within the electrical engineering department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing context.
- Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical).
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., BS 7671).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
