Electrical Engineer - Industrial Automation

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Develop and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on production machinery, minimizing downtime.
• Specify and select electrical components, including motors, sensors, PLCs, and VFDs.
• Collaborate with the maintenance and operations teams to improve system reliability and performance.
• Ensure all electrical installations and modifications comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in industrial electrical engineering and automation.
• Proficiency with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI design.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards (e.g., BS 7671).
• Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting and testing equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards maintenance and improvement.
