Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Analysis

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed power system studies including load flow, fault analysis, stability, and protection coordination.
• Utilize advanced simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, PowerFactory DIgSILENT, ETAP) to model and analyze electrical networks.
• Develop technical reports and recommendations based on study findings for grid operators and utilities.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders via virtual platforms to discuss results and propose solutions.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in power system analysis.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of analysis tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in power system analysis and studies.
• Proficiency with industry-standard power system simulation software.
• Solid understanding of power system fundamentals, including transmission and distribution networks.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote reporting and collaboration.
