We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Electrical Engineering professional to support the delivery of high-quality education and training programmes across our engineering curriculum.
The successful candidate will bring current industry experience together with the passion to develop the next generation of engineers.
* Essential Skills & Experience HNC/HND Level 4/5 qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline Relevant industrial experience within electrical engineering, manufacturing, energy, maintenance, or related sectors
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation, maintenance and fault finding
* Knowledge of health & safety standards and safe systems of work
* Ability to support and develop learners in both practical and classroom settings Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Key Electrical Engineering Competencies Electrical principles and power systems Industrial installation and maintenance
* Fault diagnosis and testing techniques Motors, drives and control systems
* PLCs and automation fundamentals Electrical drawing interpretation and schematics Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
* Understanding of industry regulations and compliance
