Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Darley Dale | Salary: Up to £52,000 + Shift Allowance & Overtime
We’re recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established heavy manufacturing business based in Darley Dale.
This is a hands-on role working in a busy, high-volume production environment, where you’ll be responsible for keeping machinery and equipment running safely and efficiently while minimising downtime.
Key Responsibilities

Planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
*
Fault-finding and repair of production machinery and industrial equipment.
*
Working with PLCs, motors, drives, sensors and control panels.
*
Responding to breakdowns and reducing production downtime.
*
Supporting installations, modifications and continuous improvement projects.
*
Completing electrical testing, inspections and maintenance records.
*
Working safely and in line with relevant electrical regulations.
About You
*
Recognised electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
*
Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments.
*
Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
*
Experience with 3-phase systems, motors, drives and control systems.
*
PLC experience would be advantageous.
*
Proactive approach with a strong focus on safety and reliability
