About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Electrical Project Engineer to manage and deliver electrical projects from conception through to completion in the Bristol area. This role adopts a hybrid working model , balancing remote project management and documentation with essential site visits and client meetings. You will be responsible for overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that all electrical installations meet quality standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. This position requires strong project management skills coupled with a solid technical understanding of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and final documentation.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven experience in managing electrical engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning processes.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and software (e.g., MS Project).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment , balancing remote and on-site responsibilities.
