Electrical Project Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Electrical Project Engineer to manage and deliver key electrical infrastructure projects. This role offers a hybrid working model, combining remote work flexibility with essential collaboration at our Norwich office. You will oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong project management skills and a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor electrical engineering projects to meet defined objectives.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage resources effectively.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Oversee the procurement of electrical equipment and materials.
• Communicate project status, updates, and potential issues to stakeholders regularly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering or project management within the electrical sector.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems , construction, and installation practices.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
