About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Electrical Project Engineer for a significant project based in Belfast . This role is offered on a contractor basis, providing a flexible opportunity for an engineer to manage and oversee the execution of electrical installations. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while adhering strictly to safety protocols. This position is ideal for a results-oriented professional looking to apply their project management skills in a dynamic environment within Northern Ireland's burgeoning industry sector.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day execution of electrical projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient resource allocation and progress.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions proactively.
Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
Prepare and review project documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports.
Facilitate effective communication between the project team, clients, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Demonstrable experience in managing electrical construction or installation projects.
Strong knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
Familiarity with UK electrical installation standards and health and safety legislation.
Excellent organizational, planning, and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
