About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and organised Electrical Project Engineer to join their expanding team in Reading . This role is key to managing and delivering electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards. You will liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams, overseeing all aspects of project execution. The position operates on a hybrid model, offering a blend of office-based project management and remote coordination, providing flexibility while ensuring project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of electrical projects, from initiation to completion.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress closely.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, suppliers, and external contractors.
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant safety regulations and quality standards .
• Prepare project reports, documentation, and client communications.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in project management within the electrical engineering sector.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects in a hybrid work environment .
