About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Electrical Project Engineer to manage key electrical projects from inception to completion in Brighton . This role demands strong technical knowledge coupled with excellent project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, coordinating all electrical aspects of various construction and development initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of significant projects in a vibrant coastal city.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all phases of electrical projects, including planning, execution, and closing.
Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and installation of electrical equipment.
Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and quality standards throughout project execution.
Conduct site inspections and technical reviews to verify compliance and address any deviations.
Prepare project progress reports and conduct project review meetings with stakeholders.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
Proven experience (5+ years) in managing electrical projects, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
Solid understanding of electrical systems, installations, and relevant UK building regulations.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and software (e.g., MS Project).
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively on-site and manage project logistics.
