Your new company A well-established industrial organisation is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a large-scale production and processing facility. Your new role As Engineering Team Leader, you will lead a multi-skilled maintenance team, ensuring plant and equipment are maintained to the highest standards while promoting a strong safety culture. You will oversee maintenance activities, statutory compliance, equipment installations, and commissioning projects, whilst working closely with operational teams and external contractors. The role will also involve driving continuous improvement initiatives, conducting root cause analysis investigations, and ensuring compliance with relevant engineering and health and safety legislation. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience leading and managing multi-skilled engineering teams within a heavy industrial, manufacturing, process, or similar environment. You will possess strong knowledge of engineering compliance and safety regulations, alongside experience carrying out root cause analysis and problem-solving activities. An HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering is required, supported by a good understanding of mechanical engineering principles. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
