About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Electrical Systems Engineer to join their established team in Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK . This role is central to the design, integration, and optimisation of complex electrical systems for a variety of industrial applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and efficiency of these systems, working closely with project management and manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop integrated electrical systems, including power distribution, control logic, and safety circuits.
- Create detailed electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams using industry-standard CAD software.
- Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and panels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system failures and performance issues.
- Collaborate with mechanical and automation engineers to ensure system compatibility and efficiency.
- Document all design work, test results, and operational procedures accurately.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical systems design and integration.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs , HMI programming, and industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in electrical CAD software such as EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Understanding of safety standards (e.g., BS 7671) and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are critical for this role in West Yorkshire .
