Electrical Systems Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and innovative Electrical Systems Engineer to join their dedicated team in Leeds . You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure that our electrical architectures are robust, efficient, and meet evolving market demands. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrated electrical systems, considering power, signal integrity, and thermal management.
• Define system requirements, architecture, and interfaces for new electrical products.
• Perform system-level simulations and analysis to validate design performance and identify potential issues.
• Develop test plans and procedures for electrical system validation and verification.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical system issues during development and production phases.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components and subsystems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical systems engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in system modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE).
• Strong understanding of microcontrollers, FPGAs, sensors, and actuators.
• Experience with various communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet).
• Excellent documentation and technical communication skills.
