Electrical Systems Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Electrical Systems Engineer to join their established team based in Bradford . You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex electrical systems across various projects. This role requires a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, working collaboratively with on-site teams to deliver robust solutions. You will contribute to the full project lifecycle, from initial concept through to commissioning and support, ensuring that all electrical systems meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements, and playing an integral part in the success of our client's operational infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components according to project specifications.
• Create detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using CAD software.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on existing electrical systems, identifying root causes of failures.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure integrated system performance.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in the commissioning and startup of new electrical installations.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical systems design and implementation.
• Proficiency with electrical design tools and simulation software.
• Solid understanding of power electronics, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
