About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Integration Engineer to join their innovative R&D team in Brighton . This role focuses on the seamless integration of electrical hardware and software components into complex systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You will work at the intersection of hardware and software, developing and testing interfaces, and troubleshooting integration issues. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical interfaces between various hardware and software modules.
• Develop and execute integration test plans to validate system functionality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues involving hardware, firmware, and software interactions.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and firmware development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Document integration procedures, test results, and system architecture.
• Contribute to the definition of system requirements and specifications from an integration perspective.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering , Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in systems integration, with a focus on electrical and electronic systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for test automation and data analysis.
• Understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).
• Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other relevant test equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.
