Job Opportunity: Contract Electrical Technician
Contract Length: 3 months
Rate: £20–£22 per hour Umbrella
Start Date: Immediate
The RoleWe are looking for 2x electrically biased contractors to support an engineering project involving the assembly and wiring of standard electrical panels within empty cabinets.
The panels are predominantly pre-populated, with full electrical schematics provided, so you will be required to follow drawings accurately and complete the wiring and installation to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Building and wiring electrical panels within control cabinets.
Installing and connecting pre-populated electrical panels.
Reading and following electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Connecting and terminating electrical components and wiring.
Using hand and power tools for electrical assembly.
Carrying out basic electrical testing and quality checks.
Ensuring all work is completed to the required engineering and quality standards.
Working alongside engineers and other technicians to meet project deadlines.RequirementsPrevious experience in panel wiring, panel building, electrical fitting, machine wiring or electrical assembly.
Confident reading and working from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Experience working with control panels, electrical cabinets or industrial electrical systems.
Good understanding of electrical components and cable termination.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Immediate availability is essential
