About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Electrical Test Engineer to join their quality assurance team in Brighton . This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our electrical products through rigorous testing procedures. You will be responsible for developing test plans, executing tests, analyzing results, and providing detailed reports to guide product improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical principles and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, market-ready products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and procedures for electrical products.
• Conduct functional, performance, and environmental testing on electrical components and systems.
• Operate and maintain test equipment, ensuring calibration and accuracy.
• Analyze test data, identify defects or anomalies, and document findings clearly and concisely.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and quality standards.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 2-4 years of experience in electrical testing or quality assurance.
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
• Understanding of electrical safety standards and testing protocols.
• Experience with data analysis and report generation.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to problem-solving.
