About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Electronics Maintenance Technician to join their team in Reading . This role is essential for the upkeep and repair of sophisticated electronic systems and equipment critical to operations. You will conduct diagnostics, perform repairs, and implement preventative maintenance measures to ensure system reliability. The hybrid work model allows for effective management of tasks, combining necessary on-site diagnostics and repairs with remote analysis, reporting, and planning, within the scope of Installation & Maintenance .

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electronic circuits and systems.
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty electronic components.
• Conduct routine testing and calibration of electronic equipment.
• Interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation to guide repair efforts.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, findings, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and procedures during work.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electronics Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of electronic principles and component-level troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in using electronic test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters).
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and diagrams.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site duties.
