Electronics Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Electronics Maintenance Technician to join their team based in Reading . This role involves the maintenance, repair, and calibration of electronic equipment and systems used in their operational facilities. You will be key in ensuring the reliable performance of sensitive electronics, contributing to the smooth operations of the company across Berkshire and requiring a keen eye for detail and strong diagnostic capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on electronic equipment.
• Calibrate instruments and test equipment to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Troubleshoot electronic circuits and systems to identify root causes of failure.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with engineers on system upgrades and modifications.

Requirements

• HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in maintaining and repairing electronic systems, including circuit board level troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with electronic testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Good understanding of electronic schematics and technical documentation.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
