About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Email Marketing Manager to lead their customer communication efforts. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the UK. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, drive customer engagement, and increase sales. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of email marketing platforms, segmentation strategies, A/B testing, and campaign automation, with a proven ability to create compelling content and analyze campaign performance. This role is central to building strong customer relationships and driving repeat business through effective email communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies to support business goals, including lead nurturing, customer retention, and promotional campaigns.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of email campaigns, from concept and design to deployment and performance analysis.
- Create engaging and persuasive email content, including subject lines, body copy, and calls-to-action, aligned with brand voice.
- Segment email lists and personalize content to deliver targeted messages to specific audience groups.
- Conduct A/B testing on various email elements (subject lines, content, send times) to optimize open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Analyze email campaign performance metrics, report on key insights, and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Email Marketing Manager or in a similar email marketing role.
- Expertise with major email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Campaign Monitor) and marketing automation tools.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, CAN-SPAM compliance, and deliverability.
- Excellent copywriting and content creation skills, with a focus on conversion-driven messaging.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to draw actionable insights from campaign results.
- Experience with CRM systems and customer segmentation.
