About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Email Marketing Manager to lead their email marketing efforts from Plymouth . This role is key to developing and implementing effective email strategies that nurture leads, drive customer engagement, and boost sales conversions. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of email campaigns, from list segmentation and content creation to automation and performance analysis. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of email marketing best practices, platform technologies, and data-driven optimization techniques, working to enhance customer relationships and revenue through targeted communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive email marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end creation and deployment of email campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated sequences.
- Segment email lists based on customer data and behavior to deliver personalized and relevant content.
- A/B test subject lines, content, send times, and other variables to optimize open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Analyze email campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR) and maintain list hygiene.
- Collaborate with content and design teams to create engaging email content and visuals.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Email Marketing Manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and analytics.
- Experience with marketing automation and customer journey mapping.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
- Data analysis skills and the ability to translate insights into action.
