Email Marketing Specialist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Email Marketing Specialist to join their marketing team in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for planning, creating, executing, and analyzing email marketing campaigns designed to engage customers, drive sales, and nurture leads. This role requires a solid understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, automation, and A/B testing. You will work closely with content, design, and data teams to ensure campaigns are effective, on-brand, and deliver a personalized experience to our subscribers, contributing to our client's customer relationship management and direct marketing success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated workflows.
• Segment email lists and personalize campaign content to improve engagement and conversion rates.
• Design visually appealing and mobile-responsive email templates.
• Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, and send times to optimize campaign performance.
• Monitor key email marketing metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR).

Requirements

• Proven experience in email marketing or a related digital marketing role.
• Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Campaign Monitor).
• Understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, and automation.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template design is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
