About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Email Marketing Specialist to join their growing team, operating in a remote-first capacity. This role will focus on crafting and executing effective email marketing campaigns that nurture leads, engage customers, and drive conversions. You will manage the entire email lifecycle, from strategy and content creation to deployment and analysis, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives. We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of email marketing best practices, automation, and segmentation, ready to optimize our client's email channel for maximum impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven email marketing strategies, including newsletters, promotional campaigns, and automated workflows (e.g., welcome series, abandoned cart).
- Create compelling email copy, subject lines, and calls-to-action that drive engagement and conversions.
- Segment email lists based on customer data and behavior to deliver personalized and relevant content.
- Manage the A/B testing process for subject lines, content, send times, and other elements to optimize campaign performance.
- Monitor email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, deliverability) and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Email Marketing Specialist or in a similar email marketing role.
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Campaign Monitor) and marketing automation tools.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and list segmentation.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with a focus on conversion-oriented messaging.
- Experience with A/B testing and data analysis to optimize campaigns.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and integrating email marketing with other marketing channels.
